I went to "Device Manager" and uninstalled the drive (from Disk drives) and the USB Mass Storage Device (from Universal Serial Bus controllers) then restarted my computer.
I can see it in the device manager, however when I right click on this drive (be it at the top or the bottom) every option is gray-ed out. The only way I can access my data in the drive is to find it under Disk Management, where it has been assigned a Letter, which is not being used by It did not appear as a disk either in Disk Management. The bottom line is that the eight bad floppies still get the error messages that they must be formatted and when trying to format, it won't allow and all the disk Lurking. identify the drive, and say it is working properly. I could see it from WIN XP SP3 disk manager, but not from Windows Explorer.
It is a MS games disk.
