Then we installed Win7 and the sounds worked fine (but the computer itself was fairly slow, it didn't seem to be able to handle Win7). Some other programs like Drive Booster, DriverEasy can do this as well. It may also show up under a generic name-in our test case, it shows up as an unspecified MTP device, but is indeed a Nexus 6P. Please note that I am running Win7 64bit.
