damn, haha! Can't I just find the infected file, delete it, and then re-establish my explorer.exe file at re-boot from the install disk or the Internet? Great guide, i just have one problem with that method.

Thank you. In Task Manager, Processes tab can you see Explorer.exe running? But the same error appears when I double click on other drive names. Then they re-apear again, just to do it all over again.

Other symptoms include being able to access the explorer.exe file in the windows directory. I looked it up last night and got all the typicail big site "fixes" but this worked like a charm.
